This is basically a drive up letterbox. Take Route 6 to South
Wellfleet and turn at the sign indicating the Marconi Station Site and Marconi
Beach. Follow the signs to the Station Site. Park in the lot and
walk to the boardwalk on the right. Walk up the boardwalk and when you get to
the viewing platform step off onto the sand. Walk around the platform
until you get to the point where the water tower is at your back and the
pavilion is in front of you. Reach under the platform and find Mr. Marconi's
Wonderful Wireless letterbox honoring Guglielmo Marconi, wireless wizard and
winner of the 1909 Nobel Prize in Physics.
